Leaf cutter bee hive

The owners from Stratford New World kindly donated a leaf cutter bee hive to Stratford Primary School. This was a promotion in conjunction with the Little Garden plants that we also received. We had a presentation afternoon and Dan (from New World) came and gifted the hive and sleeping bees to Rooms 9 & 13.  Marlene created some gorgeous bee cup cakes and some yummy honey rice bubble slice - which we were all able to share together. The Stratford Press and Daily News were present and took some lovely photos of the afternoon.  Now we patiently wait for the bees to hatch out which should be in the beginning of November.
