Play, Learn and Grow Together

Mrs Rova and Marlene have had a busy holiday preparing Room 13 to open.  They say it takes a village to raise a child - it also takes a village to create a sustainable, play based classroom using natural resources!!!

Special thanks to the many people who have assisted in this journey so far.  Firstly Marlene, our enviro schools co-ordinator, who has taken the lead role of project manager and done such an amazing job!

The tireless jobs of donating time, advice, resources and support - Jack And Gemma Whitikia, Maka Paki Paki, Glenda Zimmerman, Ian Abraham, Grant Agent, Trent Gadsby, George Rova, Gu Rova, Melissa Stone, Deb Campbell, Tony McQuay, Sarah Austin, Keegan Electrical, Brenda Buchanan, Nic Willis, Felicia Piddington, Bev Prankurd, Laurel Reed, Shirley Candy, Glen Candy, Lynn Rogers, Jo Todd, Hayley Loveridge, Sintina Petrie and the many, many other friends and family.

Mrs Rova is feeling very privileged to be a part of such a wonderful community.  The room is ready and tomorrow is the day when we will see our new class members join the fun!!!

Here is a sneak peek of the environment that we have created. It is a continued work in progress and will be guided and shaped by the children.

We welcome visitors so please pop in to say hello – who knows…… you may even want to stay and PLAY.
