Showing manaakitanga

Our class talks a lot about showing manaakitanga.  This means we treat each other with respect.  It also means we need to take care of our environment.  We decided that we would clean up the outside area of Room 13.  It was a lot of fun and also hard work.  Here we are in action picking up all the dead leaves. We also learnt about where to take them so they can be used again as compost.
